About Renee Montgomery
Renee Montgomery is a former athlete turned executive, investor and entrepreneur making an impact across sports, media, fashion, and culture. A West Virginia native, she graduated from UConn as a National Champion before winning two WNBA championships with the Minnesota Lynx in 2015 and 2017. Her elevation from locker room to boardroom was ground breaking: she became Co-Owner and Vice President of the WNBA Atlanta Dream, a first for a WNBA player, and is also the first female owner in Fan Controlled Football as one of three owners of the FCF Beasts. Most recently announced, Renee will serve as a mentor to seven athletes around the world for Chanel Beauty’s CC League, a global initiative empowering elite female athletes to explore identity, beauty, and self-expression beyond sport.
Renee has brought her electric personality and game insight to broadcasts such as Hello Sunshine’s Women’s Sports Now, USA SPORTS, CBS, TNT, and her podcast, Montgomery & Co. In 2024, she launched C SUITE 21, a fashion-forward brand designed to support athletes at the intersection of performance and leadership, and her documentary A Radical Act, produced by UNINTERRUPTED, premiered and is now streaming on Roku.
Renee lives in Atlanta with her wife, music artist Sirena Grace. Together they launched Think Tank Productions and are developing scripted and unscripted projects for film and tv alongside Versant, Nickelodeon, Olive Bridge, and more.
